Trente Ashton
has practiced interior design in Atlanta since her 1991
graduation from the University of Alabama, where she received
her bachelor’s degree in this field. In 1997 she passed the
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) examination, further enhancing her professional
credentials. It was during this year that she began working on
her own, which culminated in the creation of her own company
in 2000.
Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles cited Trente as one of the “Six
Young Desigers Worth Watching” in its January 2000 issue. The
following year she was chosen to participate in the 2001
Decorators Showhouse in Atlanta. In December 2004 Trente was
featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s, “Feng Shui for
2005: Harmony at Home”.
Early in her career, aware of the importance of blending
beauty with harmony in one’s environment, Trente began the
study of feng shui. Her instinctive ability to combine these
elements led her to advanced training. In this pursuit, she
has completed advanced certification and teacher training in
Interior Alignment and Instinctive Feng Shui with Denise Linn.
She has, in addition, studied Black Sect Feng Shui and is a
member of the
Feng Shui Guild. Trente has also studied Earth Acupuncture,
Levels I and II, with Neil Wood. Her knowledge of these multi
disciplines allows her to create for each client a sanctuary
within his or her home or work environment.
